Our department`s winter donation drive was a huge success, thanks to your incredible generosity. On January 30th, we handed over the collected donations to Officer Barrett and Journalist Abby Moore, founder of Footwear with Care, at the local shelter in Hartford. They will ensure they reach those in need. Together, we`re making our community brighter and cozier this winter. Thank you again for your help! Our winter donation totals this winter was 783 items. We also got $195.00 in cash donations for bus passes.

Public policy and law are areas that significantly impact

the public health field. Government officials and policy analysts can design programs that increase access to healthcare for the general population, address health disparities, and change the organization of communities to improve health. Public health workers involved in the law can use existing regulations to protect underrepresented groups or advocate for the protection of the environment.
